Golden Hour CEO is Honored

San Diego, CA, June 14, 2006 - Dr. Kevin Hutton was recognized at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines hotel on Wednesday June 14th as one of the three finalists in the Health Sciences category for the most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs at the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards ceremony.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award honors entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, hard work and perseverance have created and sustained successful, growing business ventures. Entrepreneurs convert ideas into viable businesses by means of hard work, resilience, ingenuity, passion, imagination and courage. They are not afraid to take risks, they are not afraid of failure and they are willing to face the unknown.

E&Y believe it is important to pay tribute publicly to the best in the business world and bring their tenacity and triumphs into the spotlight, where others can learn and be inspired. The E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year program originated in 1986 in Milwaukee, Wis., and in just two decades has expanded to more than 125 cities in 40 countries, with annual awards presented to over 900 of the worlds most successful and innovative entrepreneurs. It is the most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs, and has become the mark of world-class individuals leading world-class companies.

Independent judging panels from each award area select five to eight Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award winners in several industry categories. All E&Y EOY regional award winners are then eligible for the national awards.

There were 60 companies nominated. Dr. Kevin Hutton was joined by two other finalists in the Health Science category, Pharmaceutical CEOs: Jack Lief (Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) and Kleanthis Xanthrpoulos, Ph.D. (Anadys Pharmaceuticals, Inc).
