St. Mary’s CareFlight Joins a Growing List of Users of Golden Hour Live Services

San Diego, CA -– August 2007 - CareFlight, based out of St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, has recently  joined the Golden Hour family of clients and will utilize Golden Hour Live CAD, Flight Following, and Decision Analytics.

St. Mary's CareFlight has a thirty one year tradition of providing air medical transport service to western Colorado and eastern Utah. With both a helicopter and fixed wing aircraft, CareFlight averages 900 flights per year.

Highly trained flight nurses, neonatal nurse practitioners, obstetrical nurses, paramedics and respiratory therapists are employed in the CareFlight program. These crews provide advanced interventions and medication therapies under the direction of emergency physicians, trauma surgeons, neurosurgeons, cardiologists, neonatologists, obstetricians, pediatricians and other specialty physicians.

St. Mary’s CareFlight utilizes a Bell 412 EP helicopter, operated by PHI, Inc. and a Beechcraft King Air 200, operated by Air Evac Services, Inc.
